XIC PE5160-4IL is a high performance, low dielectric loss factor interface conversion card designed for PCIe 4.0 or PCIe 5.0 U. 2 SSD. It connects NVMe SSD or PCIe connectors via MCIO connector. The bandwidth of the card is the bandwidth that the PCIe slot of the motherboard can support.
Motherboards with CPU and BIOS need to support forking to ensure that the PCIe x16 link width is 2 x8 linkwidths or 4 x4 linkwidths for NVMe SSD forks, otherwise this card can only support PCIe x16 linkwidths.

The Motherboard with CPU and BIOS needs to support bifurcation to ensure PCIe x16 link width to bifurcate two x8 link width or four x4 link width for NVMe SSD, Otherwise this card can only support PCIe x16 link width.
