SHT20, a new generation of Sensirion temperature and humidity sensor sets a new standard in size and intelligence: it is embedded in a dual-row flat no-lead DFN package suitable for reflow soldering, and the sensor outputs a calibrated digital signal in standard I2C format.
The SHT20, a newly designed CMOSens chip, an improved capacitive humidity sensing element and a standard bandgap temperature sensing element, has greatly improved or exceeded the reliability level of previous generation sensors (SHT1x and SHT7x). Make it more stable in high humidity environment.
